Kenshi: Remastered
Almost entirely the work of a solo developer, Kenshi: Remastered is an overhaul and upgrade to Kenshi’s aging rendering system. Almost every shader – from foliage to lighting to particle effects – is optimised and rewritten to provide the best experience possible.

Overall, the game – looks – and – performs – better. It’s as simple as that.
Kenshi: Remastered is currently in closed beta (v. 0.71b) with the release date TBA.

Compatibility
Kenshi: Remastered is compatible with Vanilla out of the gate. Kindrad – the author – is working on customizability for Overhauls and other modpacks. With version 1.0, Kenshi: Remastered will be integrated into all of the Overhauls on this site.
For each, the respective mod authors will tweak and optimise shader settings further. For instance, Lost in the Ashes will include a custom set of PBR Channels to improve on the gear visuals even further.
