What is UWE?

Fleshing out Kenshi’s world with a wealth of new factions, lore, items, and enemies to face down, Universal Wasteland Expansion undertakes the mammoth task of overhauling Kenshi’s systems to make the game a lot more challenging.

Available both on the Steam Workshop and Nexus Mods, UWE is an expansion in every sense of the world.

Factions are more dynamic, NPCs react appropriately to more situations, and that quintessential “early-game” feel is extended and permeates the whole experience from day one.

If it exists somewhere in the vanilla lore or dialogue – even buried at the bottom of a dusty tome at the end of the earth – UWE expands upon it.
