LITA is a total conversion of Kenshi, rebuilding all of its systems from the ground up for the most vibrant and dynamic experience possible.

Universal Wasteland Expansion

UWE is a total expansion of Vanilla without straying too far from its roots. It aims to build upon the foundation of the base game, staying true to its core.

Kenshi: Remastered

Kenshi: Remastered overhauls Kenshi’s rendering engine. It improves performance immensely while modernizing the game’s shaders and material channels.
Status: Closed Beta (v. 0.71b)

ReKenshi

ReKenshi is the Kenshi community’s answer to SKSE. Currently in Alpha, it reverse-engineers Kenshi’s game engine to add new capabilities for modders and fixes inherent bugs present in Vanilla. ReKenshi’s endgame is the addition of a scripting engine/API to expand modding capabilities even further.

LCS

The Lost Construction Set is a modified version of the FCS tool that expands its inherent capabilities and makes data organisation easier. It’s the tool currently being used to develop LITA.

Modding Guides

Modding Crash Course

A Zero to Hero modding course that walks you through the design of a dynamic quest – complete with everything from dialogue to factions; blender to the in-game editor. It’s a whiste-stop tour of what’s really possible with modding tools, broken down into multiple follow-along chapters.

Recommended for newcomers and old hats alike.

Covers the fundamentals of using FCS and the in-game editor. This page has a detailed breakdown explaining where you should go next.

FCS II: Intermediate Modding

An overview of the more common modding goals. Goes over how to build towns, make new items and weapons, new game starts, design characters and factions, and the fundamentals of dialogue.

FCS III: Advanced Stuff (coming soon™)

A look at the more complicated subjects in Kenshi modding. This chapter covers AI, faction campaigns, advanced dialogue, combat, world states, and ragdolls.

FCS IV: Putting It Together (coming soon™)

This chapter covers design philosophy for mods. It looks at debugging, project organisation, quest design, smart AI design, and better dialogue writing.
